After bearing up with the boring look of ubuntu , for quite a time , primarily due to lack of free time (dont think m a completely vella now days) , I decided to spice my Ubuntu a bit . Above is the snapshot of my latest desktop .Isnt it Cool ? Without going into technical details(I plan to keep this blog tech free , as much as i could, but no one knows the future ;-) ) Let me point out sm special things .First is at the right , displaying all specifications of my pc ,dynamically .Moreover i can change every thing there by just a small script . Next is the cool look of the boring terminal . and if u noticed , kde apps on ubuntu(amarok and ol ). I have kde installed on ubuntu too :-) ,Never forget noticing the panels and system theme . Mind you for all this , i havnt put much of extra resouce hungry apps. So not much loss in ubuntu speed . In fact for all practical purposes , loss of resources is negligible . You can say a perfect balance of look(eye candy) and performance. There'
