GULAL ............a review NOT ...

This weekend i got to watch movie : GULAL by Anurag Kashyap . and i must say i wasnt disappointed by this Bolly flickat all. I just cant stand those songs running around trees :P .
If you came here searching for some formal review of gulal movie giving u teasers of the movie you can stop reading it , and google another page . Itz my perspective of the film .

As i said i rarely watch bolly movies , particularly hate those meaningless songsand item numbers (which account for major earning of movies ;) ) ; this was not much different in that respect , but the way songs(1 or 2 only in the film ) were mixed with the storyline , the way story moves with it , it seems a perfect way of presenting the complex plot.

Movie deals with student politics , local rebellion to gain Back Rajputana , lead by Dukkey Bana(Kay Kay Menon) and the brother-sister couple (Aditya and Ayesha(Kiran ....forgot the name of brother :P)), the illegitimate children of an erstwhile Rajput king, trying to get the name of their Father (They turn out to be the most imp characters in the end though) .

i wont be disclosing much of the story , i dont want to finish off the suspense (naaa.... that's just an excuse, am just tooooo lazy to narate the whole story ) . I seriously feel the movie is must watch for all . Except(insist on that word) for the people who like those senseless Masala Bollywood movies (Singh is King type........that movie was a superhit ...unbelievable ) . I say so bcoz, for bolly movies u usually dont need to apply your BRAIN . But Gulal makes u think and ponder over the complex yet easy going plot . So go for the movies if u dont fall in the above mentioned category .
