My Variable looks



Recently tried picasa 3.5 and itz image search feature .
Before i move on , a brief about image search .Picasa searches for all images on ur computer and if it finds any "faces" in the pic , it groups the "similar" faces and and put them in "unnamed"album .You can then name the person in the pic .and from thereon all the images having that person will automatically be put in the persons album . Well i must say google does its work quite well .Obviously no algorithm can be flawless , but the way it performed really took me by surprise. its amazing .

Now my own experience of picasa 3.5.Picasa scanned and brought so many people's images,new faces , i never thought i had those pics .I have about 80 people's album , and about 1600 pics in unnamed album!!!(i never thought i had so many different pics of people) .

SO next came the turn of seeing my pics found by picasa .about 300 .thats less..i expected more . Pics were from my 12th class to present , 4th yr dce .And the amazing thing was different looks of me in the pics.Sometimes i wondered is it me ?? Dont know how picasa recognized thats the same person.Surely the software is great .At least better than of some vio laptop which never came up to its claim of face recognition :-P(Remember the advertisement) .Looking them i realized , yes how much have i changed from 12th class .Even my looks change every day :-P .I have not put my latest pics in there yet .

Playing with the different ,here is a collage of me with many "different" looks.
