The White Tiger - Review

India and China are deemed as the next super power of the world . There is steep growth rate for both the countries,and constructive development everywhere .The book is written in this context and presented as a series of seven letters to Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao. Indian development is quite restricted to some big cities which have struck Gold with MNC's coming there.Most of the other part of India where this urbanization have not reached still lives in their old ways. The author tries to bring about the reality of this "Urbanization", which is plagued with curruption . The book can be devide in two parts the one in which balram halwai is in his village or in Dhanbad . The next can be the one when he comes to Delhi with Ashok .First part shows the atmosphere of the village , poorness, misery , and corruption prevalent there . you feel pity for Balram Halwai his Father and brother Kishan .
